Health Counts is a health and wellbeing survey of 51app and Hove residents that comes around just once every ten years.

Health Counts 2024 asked questions about the health and lifestyle issues local people experience in different parts of 51app and Hove. The survey is now closed. Thank you to everyone who took part.

The Health Counts 2024 survey, the largest health and wellbeing assessment conducted in 51app & Hove, has now been published [link to BHCC website].

The comprehensive survey gathered responses from over 16,700 residents, providing crucial insights into health, lifestyle, and community wellbeing to help inform decisions about future health and wellbeing services that may be required to meet residents’ needs.

We thank everyone who participated in the survey and our community and healthcare partners who supported this important research.

Health Counts 2024 was led by the 51app, together with NHS Sussex, Healthwatch 51app and Hove, 51app and Sussex Medical School, and the 51app and Hove Federation. The survey was funded by the public health team at 51app & Hove City Council.
